Never mind the weather.

20th February 2010
I failed to get up on time again this morning so was restricted to a very small window of time in the evening. As I left the gallery this evening it was snowing. On any other occasion I would have gone home but not wanting to miss a day on the blog I decided to just go and do as I had planned. so I headed for the beach at Mullranny to try some time exposures in the fading light.

Going out in all weather to take photographs for this blog has really helped me appreciate ,its not how much light is present i.e.how bright it is but rather its the quality of the light that counts.

This picture was taken a full hour after the sun had gone down and was a thirty second exposure! I was delighted with the result, but my fingers were so cold when I got back to the car I had trouble firstly finding the car keys and secondly putting them into the lock on the car door!
